TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last Updated: 19, Aug,2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of RS Chauffeurs’ website and booking of our chauffeur, airport transfer, and taxi services. By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

RS Chauffeurs provides premium chauffeur and airport transfer services across Melbourne, including local taxi service, corporate transfers, intercity transfers, hotel transfers, long-distance trips, family travel, point-to-point transfers, special events, hourly charter, and winery/custom tours. Our drivers are fully licensed and Commercial Passenger Vehicle (CPV) accredited in accordance with Victorian transport regulations.

2. Bookings and Quotes

  • Bookings can be made via our website form, phone, WhatsApp, or email.
  • Quotes provided are based on the information supplied at the time of booking (pickup/drop-off location, date, time, passenger count, vehicle type). Fares may vary if trip details change (e.g., additional stops, waiting time, route changes due to traffic or road closures).
  • A booking is confirmed only once we send you written confirmation (via SMS, WhatsApp, or email).
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete pickup, destination, and contact details. We are not liable for delays or missed pickups resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • We offer transparent, upfront pricing with no hidden fees.
  • We accept cash, card, and bank transfer.
  • Additional charges may apply for extra waiting time, additional stops, toll roads, parking fees, or changes to the original itinerary, and will be communicated to you where reasonably possible.
  • Promotional offers (e.g., discount on first trip) apply as specified at the time of the offer and cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Cancellations made with reasonable notice (as advised at time of booking) will not incur a charge.
  • Late cancellations (i.e., cancellations made close to the scheduled pickup time) may incur a cancellation fee, as this affects driver scheduling.
  • If a passenger fails to show up at the agreed pickup location within a reasonable waiting period without prior communication, this may be treated as a no-show and charged accordingly.
  • We recommend contacting us as early as possible for any changes or cancellations via phone or WhatsApp: 0434 737 270.

5. Waiting Time

  • A standard complimentary waiting period applies for airport and hotel pickups to account for delays in baggage claim, customs, or check-out.
  • Waiting time beyond the complimentary period may be charged at our standard rate, communicated at the time of booking.
  • For flight delays, please notify us of your updated arrival details as soon as possible so we can adjust the pickup time accordingly.

6. Passengers, Luggage, and Child Seats

  • Please advise the correct number of passengers and luggage items at the time of booking, as this determines the vehicle allocated to your trip.
  • Baby and child seats are available on request at no extra cost; however, they must be requested in advance to ensure availability.
  • We reserve the right to decline carrying luggage or passenger numbers exceeding the safe capacity of the vehicle booked.

7. Conduct and Prohibited Items

  • Passengers must not engage in behaviour that endangers the safety of the driver, themselves, or other passengers.
  • Smoking, consumption of illegal substances, and carrying of dangerous or illegal items in our vehicles is strictly prohibited.
  • The driver reserves the right to end a trip if a passenger’s behaviour is abusive, unsafe, or unlawful. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
  • Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger (e.g., stains, breakages, excessive mess) may result in a reasonable cleaning or repair fee being charged to the customer.

8. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Our Control

We will make every reasonable effort to ensure punctual service. However, we are not liable for delays or service disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, extreme weather, flight delays, or other events of force majeure.

9. Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, RS Chauffeurs’ liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from our services is limited to the value of the fare paid for the relevant trip, except where liability cannot be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable legislation.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • We maintain appropriate insurance in accordance with Victorian CPV licensing requirements.

10. Personal Belongings

RS Chauffeurs is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle. If an item is found, we will make reasonable efforts to return it to you; a reasonable return delivery fee may apply.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at [insert Privacy Policy page link], which forms part of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
